Install DS4Windows
- First, visit the official website of DS4Windowsand download the application. Simply click on Download button as shown in below image.
- It will download the zip file, simply right click on the zip file and click on Extract all option.
- After that open the extracted folder and click on DS4Windows.exe to install it on your system.
- A small dialog box will be open and it asks you to pick where you want settings and profiles to be saved. The AppData open is hidden by the system but it restricts uses to access it. The Program Folder requires the administrative permission to store file.
- I prefer Program Folder option but you can select option according to your requirements.
- Now click on Step 1: Install the DS4 Driver option to download the specific driver and program according to your system.
Note: If you are using Windows 7 or below version then you need to install 360 Driver. So skip the step 1 and click on Step 2: If on Windows 7 or below, install 360 Driver.
- If you user account control is turned on your computer then you need to give extra permission by click on Yes button when prompted.
- After a few minutes a pop window will be open, click on the Install button to continue.
- Once you see Install Complete simply click on the finish button to complete the process.
- Launch the DS4Windows and switch to the Controllers tab.
Install InputMapper
- Visit the official website of InputMapper and download the application after accepting the terms and conditions.
- Open the InputMapper executable file, Select the installation path and tick the I agree to the license terms and conditions box. Click on the Install button.
- After InputMapper successfully installed click on Finish button.

Once you’ve installed the DS4Windows and InputMapper on your computer, the next step is to connect your controller to your PC. There are two ways to do this via a Micro USB cable and Bluetooth.

Method 1: Connect PS4 Controller To PC Via USB Cable

- First, open the Windows Settings screen and click on Devices option.
- Click on Bluetooth & other devices from the left side pane of the following pane.
- Toggle On the Bluetooth option to turn on it.
- Press the PS and Share button together at the same time until the light on the PS4 controller starts flashing.
- Once the lights on controller start blinking the Bluetooth settings page will be automatically displayed.
- Here click on Wireless controller and pair it.
- If it asks for the pairing code enter the 0000 and hit the okay button.
