• My set-up is Guitar Boss vol pedal Zoom G7.1ut multi effects unit Fender Blues Junior amp. My headaches concern setting up the Zoom G7.1ut. Those of you who use multi-effects units, 1. Do you set up a patch for each song? So, for a 20 song set you might have 20 patches.
• Other great effects. The G7.1ut easily surpasses the usual feature complement in this class. Ready-to-go patches Effect module combinations and settings can be stored and recalled as patches. The G7.1ut offers 80 preset patches that are ready to use right out of the box, plus 80 user patches which can be freely.

I've just purchased a new Zoom G7.1ut console, and would like to connect
it to my computer via MIDI in order to use the software to setup and
store patches. My computer sports a normal MIDI/joystick port provided
by the sound card, is it good for my purposes? What kind of cable do I
need to purchase?
